Hei Yi Zhuang is a special branch of the smallest Zhuang people, living in the southwest of the Big Rock Mountains, more than 50,000 people. The life of the black-clad Zhuang is the oldest and most traditional of all the branches of Zhuang People, and anthropologists call it the "living fossil" of Zhuang people. It is the tradition of the black-clad Zhuang to regard black as beautiful: BLACK TURBAN, black clothes, black trousers, black shoes, black in red, the original flavor is endless; the house of the black-clad Zhuang is a typical stilt house, unique; the folk songs of the black-clad Zhuang are melodious and elegant, the language vivid image, the tune resounds loud and clear, tactfully pleasant to hear, enjoys "the sound of nature bosom friend" the reputation. The unique etiquette festival, the Diet residence, the clothing attire, the folk song and dance, the religious belief, all displayed the black clothing Zhuang primitive local conditions and customs.
